Thanks for making “The Fantasticks” a hit!

[Posted December 5, 2016] A talented cast lit up the renovated Stivelman Theater at Uni for “The Fantasticks” in front of excited audiences for four performances. Uni featured in new Walgreens commercial “Just Retired”

[Posted November 25, 2016] Have you seen the Walgreens “Just Retired” commercial, where a teacher exits her classroom, sprays her papers all over the place and then heads to Walgreens to get a prescription on her road to retirement? If the background looks a little familiar, it should: the school scenes were shot at Uni! David Nwaba ‘11 now playing for L.A. D-Fenders

[Posted November 15, 2016] Congratulations to David Nwaba ‘11, who made the roster of the Los Angeles D-Fenders, the NBA Development League team of the Los Angeles Lakers of the NBA. He’s made an immediate impact off the bench, scoring 11 points (and seven rebounds) in the season opener vs. Iowa and then 15 points (and five rebounds) at Santa Cruz, both wins for the D-Fenders. Girls Volleyball wins Los Angeles City Division III Championship!

[Posted November 12, 2016] Uni won the 2016 City Division III title by defeating Central City Value, 25-19, 18-25, 25-19, 19-25, 15-9, on Saturday, November 12 at the Roybal Learning Center in downtown Los Angeles. Coach Emilio Alvarado’s Wildcats compiled a 17-7 regular-season record and 7-5 in the highly-competitive Western League. Kampmann-Patton-Cavanaugh Plaques Now Mounted on the South Gym

[Posted October 15, 2016] The massive plaques saluting Coach Dick Kampmann, Uni sprinter (and double Olympic gold medalist) Mel Patton ‘43 and the school’s first principal, Angus Cavanaugh, are now mounted outside the north side of the South Gym.
