By: | Tags: | Comments: 1

[Posted June 10, 2018] The Class of 1960 – the Elysians – will be 60 years “old” in 2020 and Gail Grant Day (daysies1@hotmail.com) is ready to get started on a reunion: “Attention: Class of S’60, if anyone is interested in a 60th Reunion please let me know, (it has seemed in the past that not many of our class would attend). “We would need a local chairman and a reunion company to organize the event. By: | Tags: , | Comments: 0

Could Uni be getting a new name?

By: | Tags: | Comments: 0

[Posted May 20, 2018] Uni’s petition to become an Affiliated Charter School is moving along, and quickly. The plan will be presented to the LAUSD Board of Education on June 5, 2018. We anticipate the plan being approved.” When approved, Uni’s name will change slightly to reflect its Affiliated Charter status; many of you voted on possible name changes earlier this year on the Uni Web site. Thanks to our January, February and March contributors!

By: | Tags: | Comments: 0

[Posted April 20, 2018] The mission of the Uni Hi Education Foundation is to raise funds for the continued support of Uni’s academic, athletic and performing arts programs. Created in 1985 to counter the effects on Uni of budget cuts across the L.A. Unified School District, more than $1 million has been raised to assist faculty and students. Anyone can contribute: 103-year-old Hal Cunningham, who attended the school when it was known as Warren G. Harding High, joined the ranks of donors in 2014 and helped out again in 2015! […]
