[Posted September 15, 2017] “As part of our efforts to increase career readiness, University Senior High will host our third annual Career Day on October 26, 2017 from 9:00 a.m.-10:30 a.m. It is with great enthusiasm that we ask you to support our students and school by volunteering your time to present to students that day.”
Any Uni alum who would like to give students a glimpse of what they do is welcome to participate. You’ll be speaking to two classes for 20-25 minutes each and get a guided tour of Uni’s campus as it operates today.
Uni Assistant Principal Cynthia Headrick (firstname.lastname@example.org or 310/914-3605) is the person to contact if you would like to participate or have questions. As the invitation notes, “It makes a world of difference for students to be able to hear from professionals about their experiences and how they got to where they are.”
Don’t be shy: the story you share may be the roadmap to the future for a Uni student!
