[Posted September 15, 2016] The 30-year reunion for the Class of 1986 is coming up on October 1 and an innovative idea has led to a fund-raising opportunity for the Class and for Uni!
Kathleen Cohen (firstname.lastname@example.org), who is leading the organizing effort, reports that through the assistance of classmate Brian Roberts – the Chief Financial Officer of the ride-sharing service Lyft – $25 will be donated by the company for each ride taken to the Reunion, to be matched by Roberts himself!
There are conditions, of course: you must (1) be a new Lyft customer and (2) use the code UNI1986 to book the ride, or (3) you can make a donation using the UNI1986 code.
The Reunion is being held at the Marina del Rey Marriott (check the Class Reunions page for the details) on October 1, and funds raised – courtesy of Lyft – will go to the UHEF to help Uni programs. Great idea and thanks to Brian Roberts and Lyft for making this possible.
