[Posted May 12, 2017] “I can’t overstate how great an impact these donations have on making the library relevant for students and in making the collection more valuable and worthy of protection in a time when library closures are afoot. Thank you so much to our devoted alumni!” That’s Uni librarian Tascha Folsoi ‘86 on the continuing flood of new books into the Uni library, which has now reached 169, with a new donor – Carl Hagge S ‘53 – joining the club of those who have helped out. By: | Tags: | Comments: 0

[Posted December 31, 2016] Thanks to your contributions, the UHEF was busy in 2016, not just in supporting today’s Uni, but also important projects that keep Uni’s legacy alive and tie today’s students and alumni closer. Some of the highlights: The UHEF financed the renovation of the computer systems for the Mednick College Center at Uni, a facility originally made possible by a donation from Steve Kirsch ‘74 and his wife Michelle. A new sound system was underwritten as part of the renovation of the Stivelman Theater for performing arts […]

Alumni Now Buying Books for the Uni Library!

By: | Tags: | Comments: 0

[Posted October 31, 2016] There’s no gift like the gift of learning. Uni alumni are making that happen by buying books for the school library via a new program using Amazon.com’s Wish List program. Coordinated jointly by Uni alumna and school librarian Tascha Folsoi ‘86 and the UHEF, the project allows anyone to go to a Amazon “Wish List” and buy a book that will be sent directly to the school. The “University Senior High Library” Wish List enjoys Amazon Prime status thanks to Folsoi, which means in-stock books will […]
