By: | Tags: , | Comments: 0

[Posted June 2, 2018] It’s the high school awards season, so why not have an awards program for Uni Theatre? Uni’s Director of Theatre Arts, Ronnie Sperling ‘76, made that a reality in 2018, with the first-ever Uni High Thespian Awards. Awarded on May 22, the actors and technical staff voted for male and female awardees in 23 categories, which ranged from the serious to the quite silly, such as “Best Hugger,” Biggest Slob” and “Best Shoulder to Cry on.” In the more traditional categories, the winners included: Best All […]

The plan will be presented to the LAUSD Board of Education on June 5, 2018. We anticipate the plan being approved.” When approved, Uni’s name will change slightly to reflect its Affiliated Charter status; many of you voted on possible name changes earlier this year on the Uni Web site. Anyone can contribute: 103-year-old Hal Cunningham, who attended the school when it was known as Warren G. Harding High, joined the ranks of donors in 2014 and helped out again in 2015! […]

Unified Advisory Task Force recommended that a team of real estate experts be engaged to review the District’s properties and examine the possibilities for improvements and revenue. A review of the report in the Los Angeles Times noted that: The task force’s report gave some examples […]
